Over weight can control with the help of cooler homes and over slept

Over weight
The number of bariatric surgeries carried out has increased by a massive 70% between 2009 and 2010 say the NHS. Hospital admissions resulting from obesity-related illnesses also increased by 30% and over the last ten years have increased ten times the number that they were. The 30 million that was spent on bariatric surgeries previously has jumped Over weight  to 50 million.

Are there simpler ways to deal with weight loss? It has been suggested that cooler homes and sleep have an impact on obesity believe it or not.

Over 1,000 middle aged obese people were studied over a 6 year period and it was found that cooler homes (those under 20 C) during the autumn and winter months, have an effect on weight. People living in warmer homes were found to be x2 as likely to become obese than those who kept cooler houses.

Furthermore,Over weight  sleep deprivation was thought to be a contributing factor along with the number of hours spent watching television, dining in restaurants, air-conditioning and antidepressants according to scientists from the University of Turin. The reason that the temperature of the house matters is that as the body tries to maintain a temperature balance, calories are burned.

These could be the necessary baby steps that lead to control over weight gain. Sleep deprivation is actually defined as less than 6 hours of sleep each night. A lack of sleep can mess with hormone balance and also those who cannot sleep will often eat and drink more in order to keep themselves energised throughout the day after the lack of sleep.

This study was the first to observe the connection between the temperature of the home and obesity and the results are staggering when one considers that we are looking at the temperature of the home. No one ist, one might lose weight but it is worth considering over a long period of time along  Over weight with other more significant changes to lifestyle, that weight loss could be better managed. The future of diet pills and weight loss treatments does not look so bright. Let’s see what we can do in the meantime.
